I came to the United States on August 13, 2003. It was the very first time that I travelled alone, and I am still very proud that I successfully conveyed myself to the other side of the globe. I flew from Beijing to San Francisco and missed my flight to Chicago, and the sequent one to Milwaukee. After spending five extra hours at SFO, I ended up in Milwaukee only one hour later than scheduled. Life was like magic.

I stopped by these places in a 36-hour-long flight trip in 2004:
